Babies at this point are generally camera ready & do well with focusing and have the biggest smiles. At about 6.5-8 months babies begin to sit up on their own without any assistance. For this milestone having the ability to sit-up without any support is very important, so I would recommend not booking this session until the baby is sitting up very well unassisted.

Sitter Milestone Mini
I cannot express how much I love photographing sitters. Your baby will usually be the most bubbly and silly at this stage. After the newborn photos, this session will keep telling the story of their first year. Of my four children I only have photos at each stage for 2 and at my age I have forgotten a lot. Don't be me and capture your baby's big and small changes on their way to toddlerhood. You will never regret having mementos showing how it all started. Time will go by so fast, trust me I know, and your baby will no longer fit so easily into your arms. These are the moments that will mean the most when they are older and you need a reminder of why you do what you do!

KIND WORDS:
We provide all outfits and props for the session. However, if you have a sentimental item that you would like included please do not hesitate to bring with you. If you do have an outfit, it will photograph best if it fits he/she perfectly.
06. DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE OUTFITS OR PROPS?
Yes, if you have an idea in mind for a theme I would definitely create a set for it in addition to some classic portraits. Classic portraits are taken with neutral colors like cream, white, black, browns, gray, etc. We like to stay within the boho/earth tone family.
05. CAN FAMILY BE INVOLVED WITH THE SESSION?
Yes. We can do a few family poses as well. The session however is focused mainly on the baby. Family photos take place at the beginning of the session and we may do about 2-3 poses quickly as sitters attention span is very short.
04. WILL YOU CREATE A THEME SET FOR THE SESSION?
You have the option of choosing a full or mini session. The mini session includes 1-2 neutral back drops and 2 outfits. The full session includes multiple backdrops and or custom set and unlimited wardrobe changes within the allotted time.
03. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SITTER MINI session?
You baby will begin to sit up around 6 months and sit very well unassisted between 6.5-8 months. They will not be crawling as of yet which is important that they are not for a sitter session. Once they are sitting up very well unassisted we will schedule the session.
02. Can I add a 3 month milestone session?
Yes, I would love to photograph your baby during the tummy time stage. At this milestone your baby can hold their head up very well during tummy time. They are usually very serious at this age as well so smiles are very few and in between.

I am so grateful photography found me. As an introvert photography was not something I thought I could do but I push past shyness to give my clients an amazing experience. I will play your child's favorite jams (coco melon on repeat) and tap into my inner toddler to keep them entertained.
As a mother of 4, I unfortunately did not have my children's first year photographed and for one I only have snapshots with the random thumb covering the lens. This is one of my biggest regrets of their childhood and pushes me to make sure other families do not suffer the same fate. Your baby and all others deserve photos that tell their tiny beginning beautifully.

I love peanut butter out of the jar, I only need a spoon.
Chocolate is my kryptonite add coconut and I'm in Heaven
